Indian entrepreneur Ajay Singh acquired ModiLuft  in 2004 and re-christened  it as SpiceJet.   The airline operates a fleet of Boeing 737 and Bombardier Dash aircraft. It is a low-cost airline that has its headquarters located in Gurugram, India. It has a market share of 13.2% as of March 2017 making it the third largest airline in the country by number of domestic passengers carried. The airline operates over 300 daily flights to 45 Indian destinations from its hubs at Delhi, Kolkata and Hyderabad.     On May 18, 2005 SpiceJet opened bookings and operated their first flight on May 24, 2005 between Delhi and Mumbai. Indian media baron Kalanidhi Maran acquired 37.7% stake in SpiceJet in June 2010 through Sun Group. The airline ordered 30 Boeing 737-8 aircraft worth US$2.7 billion July 2010 and 15 Bombardier Q4 Dash short-haul aircraft worth US$446 million in December of the same year. Air France was formed on 7th October 1933, with the merger of five airlines - Air Orient, Air Union, Compagnie Générale Aéropostale, Compagnie Internationale de Navigation Aérienne (CIDNA), and Société Générale de Transport Aérien (SGTA). During World War II, Air France moved its operations to Casablanca, Morocco. Deutsche Aero Lloyd (DAL) and Junkers Luftverkehr merged on January 6, 1926, to form Lufthansa Airlines, in Berlin. The airline was originally named as 'Deutsche Luft Hansa Aktiengesellschaft'. Although Oman Air, the flagship company of the Sultanate of Oman’s Civil Aviation sector, was founded in 1981, it began operations in 1993. It was a merger between Gulf Air Light Aircraft division and Oman International Services that resulted in the formation of this airline, under the name of Oman Aviation Services. Its inaugural flight was from Muscat to Salalah. Oman Air commenced its international operations in July 1993, with a flight to Dubai. Bhogaraju Pattabhi Sitaramayya founded Andhra Bank in 1923 in Machilipatnam, Andhra Pradesh. Established on 16 July 1968 by the Government of Singapore to take over the industrial financing activities from the Economic Development Board, the bank's main purpose was to provide loans and financial aid to the manufacturing and processing industries and to help establish and upgrade existing industries in Singapore.
