Air Pegasus is an Indian airline based in Bangalore. The airline is a subsidiary of the ground holding services company, Decor Aviation. Air Pegasus started its operations in April 2015 with the inaugural flight flying between Bangalore and Hubli. Air Pegasus operates from its main hub located at the Kempegowda International Airport in Bangalore.
Air Pegasus was serving eight airports aAcross South India with a hub at Kempegowda International Airport in Bangalore, using a fleet of three ATR 72-500 aircraft when they had to suspend operations on 27 July 2016, facing financial difficulties. Air Pegasus has signed an agreement to sell up to 74% stake to FlyEasy, which is yet to commence operations in India. With this sale, Air Pegasus hopes to resume operations from March 2017 keeping the focus on regional connectivity. At the time it suspended operations, Air Pegasus was operating three ATR 72-500s equipped with 66 economy-class seats.
