Asiana Airlines

Established on February 17, 1988, Asiana Airlines is based in Seoul, South Korea. It commenced its operations on December 1988, with flights to Busan. It is one of the two major airlines in South Korea, the other being Korean Air. Asiana Airline's main hubs are located at Incheon International Airport (for international flights) and Gimpo International Airport (for domestic flights).
The airline was founded by the Kumho Asiana Group, a South Korean conglomerate. The establishment of the airline was a part of the South Korean government's policy to create an additional flag carrier. Asiana Airlines was originally named as Seoul Air International. Since its inception, the airline has expanded its business at a very rapid pace. The airline ensures that world-class services are provided to its passengers, every time they are on board.

The airline's fleet consists of both narrow and wide body aircrafts. The narrow body aircrafts include Airbus A320-200, Airbus A321-100, Airbus A321-200 and Boeing 737-400. On the other hand, the wide body aircrafts in the fleet of the airline are Airbus A330-300, Airbus A350, Boeing 747-400, Boeing 747-400 Combi, Boeing 767-300 and Boeing 777-200ER. The cargo fleet of the airline consists of Boeing 747-400F, Boeing 747-400SF and Boeing 767-300F aircraft.
Asiana Airline covers a number of destinations around the world. It plies flights to Central Asia, including Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan. The airline's flights also cover major cities in the East Asian country of China, including Beijing, Hong Kong, Haikou, Guilin, Shanghai, Shenyang, Shenzhen, Tianjin, Weihai, Xian, Yanji, Yantai, Mudanjiang, Nanchang, Nanjing and Qingdao. The airline also covers major cities in Japan and Korea. India is the only South Asian country covered by the airline - it plies flights to Delhi. In South East Asia, Asiana Airlines plies flights to Cambodia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam. On the other extreme in Europe, the airline plies regular flights to Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Russia, Sweden and United Kingdom. You can also travel by Asiana Airlines' flights to some of the major cities in North America, including Chicago, Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco and Seattle. Sydney and Saipan are also covered by Asiana Airlines.
