In the year 2006, Indigo, today's one of the fastest growing low cost carriers in the world and one of the largest profitable airline in India was established by Rahul Bhatia &  Rakesh Gangwal. The Cost Reduction Business model that has been adopted by the airlines effectively reduces its operating costs. Airbus A320 has been adopted as the sole aircraft type that they usually purchase in bulk from the Airbus company. This saves a great deal of time while the training of the Airlines crew. The airlines allows 15 Kg of Baggage for the passengers.      The Headquarters are located at Gurugram, Haryana. The company was founded as a private company, but went public in 2015. The airline operates to 46 destinations (and growing). It has its primary hub at Indira Gandhi International Airport, Delhi. They have a 42.6% market share in terms of passengers carried according to last year's data. Earlier on 15 August 2015, IndiGo confirmed the order for 250 "A320 Neo" aircraft for $26.5 billion.…

Jehangir Wadia, son of Indian industrialist Nusli Wadia founded GoAir in 2005. The airline is a fully-owned subsidiary of the Wadia Group. It is a low-cost carrier based in Mumbai, India. GoAir commenced its operations on 4 November 2005 using an Airbus A320 aircraft and operated its maiden flight from Mumbai to Ahmedabad. Though, the airline initially operated to four destinations including Goa and Coimbatore with a single aircraft, it had plans to induct 36 aircraft by the year of 2008. They launched services for new destinations in North East and South India by the end of the year but with revised plans to operate 11 aircrafts as there was a significant increase in the price of fuel.      GoAir became the fifth largest airlines in India in terms of market share in April 2012, following the demise of Kingfisher Airlines. Vistara is a new Indian airline that is a joint venture between Singapore Airlines and TATA Sons. It commenced its operations in January 2015. The inaugural flight was between Delhi and Mumbai. The airline operates over 250 weekly services covering 10 destinations across India. Vistara is known to be the first airline to introduce premium economy seats on domestic routes in India.   The Airlines is based in Gurugram with its hub at Delhi i.e. Indira Gandhi International Airport. The airline transported more than two million passengers by the mid-2016 and had a 2.3% share of the domestic carrier market. Aeroflot is headquartered in Moscow, the capital city of Russia. Aeroflot is the national airline of Russia. Currently, it is the largest airline of Russia, in terms of the number of passengers carried by it, every year. The origin of South African Airways can be traced back to 1934, when the South African government purchased an airline named 'Union Airways' and renamed it to South African Airways. The airline first flew to Cape Town, Durban and Johannesburg. Gulf Air was initially founded as a private share holding company, named Gulf Aviation, by an English pilot Freddie Bosworth. The airline launched its services in 1950. The following year, British Overseas Airways Corporation (BOAC) bought 22% stake in the company, thus becoming a major shareholder. In 1972, BOAC’s shares were bought by the Kingdom of Bahrain, State of Qatar, the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and the Sultanate of Oman. Air Canada traces its roots to Trans Canada Air Lines (TCA), established in the year 1936. TCA inaugurated its first flight on September 1, 1937. Air Astana was established on September 14, 2001 and started operations on May 15, 2002. It began its operations with a fleet of three Boeing 737 aircrafts.
