I'm sure you know all about the box subscription websites out there. If not, here's the deal. There are tons of companies that let you sign up to get a box full of stuff based on your interests every month (or in some cases every few months). There are box subscription services for pretty much every interest out there. One of my favorites is Birchbox which sends you beauty and hair care products.
At $10 a month, it's a pretty good deal. Each box comes with about four or five samples based on your personal preferences and characteristics. For instance, if you list yourself as having straight hair in your profile they won't send you hair care products for curly hair. If you hate glittery makeup they will send you matte products. The samples are all pretty good sizes and sometimes you'll actually get full-sized products. For any of you that enjoy trying new beauty products, Birchbox is a great deal. It's fun and it can help you save money too.
And on top of that, they have a great rewards program. Every dollar you spend earns you one point. Ten points are equal to one dollar and you can use those points to save money on other products on the site.
Some of the brands you'll get include Bvlgari, Benefit, Marc Jacobs, NARS, Stila, Bare Minerals, and more.
Here are some of the things I've gotten from Birchbox. One of my boxes included an amazing perfume called Mon Jasmine Noir by Bvlgari, a Stila eyeshadow, an AHAVA mineral hand cream, a small bar of pomegranate soap from Archipelago, and a blank card and envelope from Tiny Prints. Tiny Prints also threw in a coupon code for one free Tiny Prints greeting card. As you can see, sometimes Birchbox throws in some non-beauty related products, which is always a fun surprise.
Another month I received some Comodynes self-tanning towelettes. I didn't care for these because they weren't as easy to use as I thought they would be and they left streaks on my legs. But that's okay because I would have paid a lot for them if I had purchased them somewhere else. But since they were included in a box full of other stuff, and I only paid $10 for the whole box, it wasn't a bad deal at all.
In that same box, I also got an Eyeko fat eye stick which is a big, creamy, eyeshadow stick. I love it. It goes on really easy and doesn't wear off. The color is also very pretty (a golden color with some olive undertones) and makes my green eyes stand out.
Some other items include Likewise facial moisturizer with SPF 50 (for oily skin), TheBalm Stainiac (which is a great lip and cheek stain), and a Tili Bag (which is a really cute Ziploc type of bag with a fun swirl design).
There are some other beauty box subscription services out there but so far this is the cheapest one I've found. Have you guys used Birchbox? If so, what did you think about it?
This is a great opportunity for women who'd like to try those hi-end beauty products, but didn't want to spend too much from their pockets. With all the great products mentioned that you'd get from the said box, sure it would be of a good deal for 10$ worth. This is a very nice offer that will most probably earn loyalty from customers. I would love to try this Birchbox myself.
